Here at Stillwater Rods, we take custom rod building to the next level! Our primary goal is to equip each angler with a rod specifically tailored for it's intended use, whether it be fly fishing, offshore trolling, deep water jigging, shark fishing, plugging, cranking, drop shotting, pan fishing, etc.
Our builds are composed using the highest quality components in the rod building industry. We offer a wide variety of name brand blanks from manufactures such as American Tackle Company, Batson Enterprise, North Fork Composites, Phoenix, Lamiglass, Seeker and St. Croix. Not only do these great companies make the majority of the blanks we use, they also provide the best components. Rest assured, any rod produced by our company will be constructed using nothing short of the industries leading materials.
Most of the handle material we use for our high end builds is comprised of high density pour urethane foam that's wrapped in either a carbon fiber or fiberglass sleeve. Because these handles are made in-house, one by one, we have the ability to shape, paint and customize to your exact specifications. To our knowledge, no other rod builder in the country provides this level of customization in the rod handle itself.

Are you ready to place an order for your own Stillwater Rod?
All "Stillwater" rods are made to order, and each is hand-crafted on-site at our facility, located in Wilmington, NC. We strive to provide a rod that is custom built to satisfaction, and then some! When placing your order please keep in mind that custom builds can take anywhere from two to six weeks to complete, depending on the style and color(s).
Our rods are shipped via UPS or FedEx ground delivery, after being carefully packaged to prevent damage. All packages are insured for your protection and peace of mind!
